Welcome, mortal

V: Forever searching out the "why"s, and blending their mind to create something others will understand.

I Dance

I awoke this morning and I danced.
I danced in sadness and in pain,
I danced in freedom and in joy.
The dance of a thousand million
broken hearts, crying for peace.
The dance of a thousand million
hurts, crying for healing.
The dance of a thousand million
butterflies, dancing free.
The dance of a thousand million
milkweed seeds, dancing on the breeze.
I rarely dance, too afraid that someone
will see me, will think that I
a clumsy, silly, will think I dance well.
But here, where no one is but me,
here, I dance freely, in a sort of trance.
Forgetting life for a little while.
I dance to the feelings and rhythms
that lay dancing in my heart,
the heart of this city's people.
I dance to the music, feeling it.
Feeling each little drop of pain,
each little drop of happiness.
I am floating on a rising
ecstatic wave, falling, crying
from the built up pain... frustration.
This morning, I awoke and I danced,
Danced for the beauty and the pain,
danced for the crying of the hurt,
danced for the crying for healing.
danced for the cry for freedom,
danced for the freedom that already is.
I dance for the healing of the anger,
that comes from bleeding hurt and pain.
I dance for life, for living, for rhythm...
