Poetry: The Dancing Rainstorm
a raindrop dancing down.
When they fall, they hop,
dancing across the ground.
Sheets of water pouring down
to the garden bringing life,
soaking deep into the ground,
making life bloom around.
The smell of rain fills the air
mixed with the smell of earth
and that perfume fair
the wind carries forth.
The thunder booms so loud
and lightening cracks the sky
Thunderbird is in the clouds,
and the rain comes dancing down.
But then the thunder rumbles,
and rumbles no more.
The lighting seemingly crumbles,
and leaves the empty space.
Then a sunbeam comes pouring
through a crack in the sky,
shining through the rain-sheet,
making a rainbow up high.
