The One Lovely Blog Award

Rules:
- Link back to the blogger that nominated you.
- Post seven facts about yourself.
- Nominate fifteen bloggers.
Thank you for the tag Keturah! I am glad someone thinks I have one lovely blog!
Now... for the seven facts:
- I love learning languages, right now I am learning Irish Gaelic and I love it! Since some of you might be wondering why I want to learn Irish Gaelic, here is the reason: I once heard someone speak it and decided it sounded like such a beautiful language that I wanted to learn it. Yes, was the one to ask them to speak it.
- I want a harp. Any harp would do, but the kind of harp I really want is an Irish harp...or any folk harp really. And I am going to try and make my own, stringing it with several different gauges of monofilament nylon beading cord, since harp strings cost way more money than I have. I am working on drawing the plans for it.
- I am a photographer. Without much equipment, but you don't necessarily need all that fancy equipment to be a good photographer, all you need is a good eye and an artistic and poetic nature.
- I would take as many dogs and cats and other animals as you want to give me, if I would be allowed to keep them is a totally different question though.
- I have two favourite music genres: Traditional Irish (definitely not modernized, and preferably not overly complicated.), and Classical (I like the Boroque era best.). I do enjoy some of the modern styles as well, but they are definitely not on my favorites list.
- I am a tea enthusiast, writer, poet, artist and musician.
- I like making up my own songs to play, although I do not read music and only can play by ear (it really hurts to play by ear!). The songs I like to play and "compose" are in the traditional Irish style.
Now, let me try to find fifteen bloggers to nominate! If you are not nominated, but would like to be, consider yourself either nominated or tagged, whichever sounds better to you!

Thank you so much for awarding me, Clara! It's so sweet of you. :)
ReplyDeleteI unfortunately don't really have the time to do this as a post, though. I hope you understand!
Yes! Being a photographer certainly doesn't require fancy equipment. I am by now means skilled in all there is to know on photography, but I enjoy it very much. I've only had a DSLR for a year or two now, but for years I used normal, every day digital point and shoot cameras that gave me very nice photo quality!
Heehee, I have recently discovered a love for tea. Glad to find another "fan"! :D haha
I hope you get your harp someday soon!
That is perfectly fine if you don't have the time to do the tag, I do understand!
DeleteI hope to someday have a better camera, what I have now is a Canon PowerShot SX500.
I also am glad to find another fan of tea!
I will get my harp someday I know, I just hope that someday comes soon!
Clara, thanks so much for nominating me! I just did a seven-facts post, though, so I don't think I'll do one again. But if you want to learn seven facts about me, you can go and read that one. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm a tea enthusiast too! And I want a harp TOOO. Harps are so pretty! I have a cousin once removed who plays one beautifully. :-) (Hey, I also like the harp background music on your blog. Very peaceful! :-D)
Thanks for thinking of me - that's so kind of you!
~ Naomi
That is fine if you don't want to do this! I just had find fifteen bloggers to nominate.
DeleteThanks! I also really like my background music, it is by a harpist named Fiachra. He also composes some music, and I really like his compositions.
You are welcome!
Yes to #3! You really don't need much equipment at all. Just develop a good eye, and you can take nice photos with just about anything. When you can get better equipment someday, you'll already be a good photographer who learned how to compose nice shots without a bunch of fancy gadgets.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for tagging me! I'm not sure if I'll be able to respond right away or not. I'm a little bit worried about my blogs getting filled up with a lot tags and not enough original content. Original content takes a lot longer to crank out, though...
Thanks! I hope that when I get a lot of good equipment, I will already be a really good photographer!
DeleteThat is perfectly fine if you are not able to do the tag...I understand. I was just supposed to tag fifteen people and you were one of the ones I thought of. :)
Thank you so much for thinking of me for this tag!
ReplyDeleteSince I just stumbled onto your blog Clara I really enjoyed reading this post and learning about you! It looks like a fun tag!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was a fun tag to do, feel free to do it yourself if you want!
