New Seed Varieties!
It is time to finish up my seed saving, and I realized I did not have any posts on what seed varieties I have been saving, or how to save it. Well, I am going to fix that now! Actually, the only part I am going to fix is the: what seed varieties I have been saving.
Here are the new seed varieties:
Zebrina Hollyhock
Red Mustard
Bouquet Dill
Also much thanks to Joel Walker from the International Institute's Global farming program for letting me harvest the following seed from the north garden:
Wild Sunflowers
Red Mexican Torch Sunflowers
Yellow Mexican Torch Sunflowers
Mammoth Sunflowers
Much thanks to several gardeners for giving me the following seed:
Chinese Red Noodle Bean
Chinese Winter Melon
White Radish or Daikon Radish
Wild Asters
And not ANY thanks to the snow for killing the hyacinth bean plants so that I could not harvest seed from them. I did like the snow in other ways though, such as the double season photographs I took!
Here are the new seed varieties:
Zebrina Hollyhock
Harris Model Parsnip
Pink Icicle Tomato
Minibel Tomato
Chadwick Cherry Tomato
Bali Tomato
Indian Paintbrush Coreopsis
Peppermint Stick Zinnia
Button Box Mix Zinnia
Dwarf Coral Garden Mix Cock-comb
I have a few more new varieties as well, but I am not remembering what they are right now
